Club Outing
Outing Coordinator: Rod Jacobson
Date: January 28th, 2007 (Sunday), 10:00am, Mt. Bachelor Park N' Ride (Colorado Side).
Elevation Gain, Distance & Duration: 500'-1500', 3-5 miles & 3-5 hrs. (round-trip from park-n-ride).
Outing Description: Destination to be determined by the group at the park-n-ride. Choices include a trip to Todd Lake (& the lake loop if desired), a climb up Tumalo Mtn., or exploration of the new snowshoeing trails around Swampy Lakes (maps included for all).
Equipment/Clothing needs: Be prepared for: snow, rain, hail, wind &/or sun (i.e. layers). Snowshoes, poles, etc. 10 essentials. Cell phones & 2-way radios are always a good idea.
Skills, Experience and Fitness Level Needed: Must be fit enough to climb up a moderate grade for 1.5 - 2 hrs.
